My Neighbor’s Pantry in Rockaway Beach
The Pantry is gearing up for the 4th year of its popular Lunch Box Program. The Pantry coordinator Jan McCabe explains, “Most of the children in our service area eat two meals a day at school. When schools out more meals are needed in a home where the paycheck hasn’t gotten any bigger. We try to make sure kids have something they can eat without much cooking” This month is the big push to get items on the shelves to fill the Lunch Boxes. Lunch Boxes will have hot dogs, chicken noodle soup, ramen soup, tuna fish, spaghetti O’s, cheese/peanut butter crackers, drinks, cookies and chips as available.

donations to purchase school supply kits, shoes and clothing vouchers
for the children of low income families in Taney County. They want each
